MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2001--Verisity Ltd. (Nasdaq:VRST), the leader in verification methodology, is embarking on a worldwide verification tour targeting engineers engaged in the verification of hardware and software in system, IC and SoC designs.

Through a step-by-step approach, users will be exposed to advanced verification methodology and techniques, including verification reuse. Seminars will be held in North America, Europe and Asia from September 11 to November 9, 2001.

The ``cookbook-style'' verification methodology seminars are highly technical, focusing on verification methodology and techniques and will incorporate tools such as testbench automation, hw/sw co-verification, code coverage analysis and lint checking. At the seminar, attendees will learn:

• Verification strategies including test plan creation,
• A coverage-based approach to functional verification,
• How to automate their verification process by quickly

developing a smart testbench, including directed random

generation strategies, scoreboarding, protocol checkers, and

functional coverage techniques,

• Strategies for achieving verification reuse to save time and eliminate redundancies,
• How to apply this methodology to system/SoCs, incorporating a hw/sw co-verification methodology.
